We will attempt to ship your order out within 1-2 business days. However, if the order contains perishable items and may not get shipping due to holiday or a weekend, we will delay shipping. Additionally, a built-in calculator will estimate shipping based on the weight of the items in the order, the shipment method, and shipment destination. This calculation also includes a handling fee of $3.25. The estimated amount will be displayed on the webpage prior to completing the order.
We are passionate about customer satisfaction. You have a right to expect our products to perform as described on our site.
If you experience problems with your order, contact us as soon as you receive the package and no later than 7 days from time of delivery.
The person who placed the order must contact us in order to receive a refund for any damaged products or for items for which you were charged, but which were inadvertently left out of your order. Refunds for purchase price of merchandise will be given for merchandise returned within 7 days accompanied by a receipt. We will not refund shipping fees for orders which were properly delivered. Refunds will be processed against the original form of payment.
NOTE: Perishable or heat sensitive items may not be returned. This includes deli meats, cheeses, fish, and chocolates.
Our refund policy applies, with the following exceptions:
- Products that were delivered intact and as described, but are merely not up the to the personal taste of the recipient. In other words, if you or someone else simply doesn't care for the product ordered, or they thought they were ordering something different, we will not issue a refund.
- Cookbooks, magazines, novels, puzzlebooks and any other copyrighted materials are non-refundable.
All orders are subject to our approval. We reserve the right to limit
quantities. We reserve the right to cancel any order. We are not
responsible for illustrational & typographical errors. Prices and
availability are subject to change prior to shipment. Should this occur,
you will be notified by email or phone, and given the option to accept
these changes or cancel the order. Hansaimporthaus.com cannot be held
responsible for items on backorder, some of the items we list for sale
have a very large demand, and unfortunately sometimes are not
available through our suppliers.
We also do not guarantee orders that are damaged, delayed, lost or stolen because:
- There were errors on the order that lead us to believe fraud might be involved.
- The person ordering provided an incorrect shipping address.
- The person ordering selected products or quantities in error.
- The person ordering selected a shipping method for perishable or heat sensitive items other than those we recommend.
- The person receiving the order did not check to see if the order was left at the door.
- The problem was not reported within 7 days of delivery.
